Not even the pouring rain of a tropical storm could dampen the spirits of these two cuties, who overcame more than one unplanned event during their wedding day to celebrate their marriage with smiles, laughter, kisses, dancing, and love.
Jen and Dave- it was an honor to be a part of your special day, and a pleasure to spend time with you, your families, and your friends. Everyone was so friendly, kind, and positive. I love the way you look at one another- you make each other glow :)
Here are a few of my favorite pictures from your wedding day- click the "play" button below the pictures to start the slideshow. Thank you again and again and again!!!!

making memories in mattapoisett
What a wonderful way to spend a beautiful Friday night- hanging out on the beach, taking pictures of an adorable, super nice family in some of the best light ever! Alissa and I LOVED this photo session, which was in honor of the grandmother's birthday- what a perfect gift! Check out how cute this family is...
Yes, they have been blessed with SIX beautiful granddaughters!!!
Hooray for swings on the beach! So fun!
Cousins are the best!!!
Investigating treasures from the sea :)
I grabbed this last shot when we returned to the house- it seems to yell out joyfully "summer!", "family!", and "fun!" :)
Having just witnessed how much love this extended family has for each other made me love the scene even more.
Thanks again you guys for an awesome photo session!!! Already looking forward to next year!!!

kristina and shawn: wedding
When a couple is this much in love, it makes our job easier and a lot more fun. Alissa and I were able to capture tons of adorable, snuggly, playful, and emotional pictures of Kristina and Shawn. Not only are they totally smitten with each other, they crack each other up and it's evident to everyone around them how much fun they have together. I love their chemistry! I was actually laughing out loud at several of their images while I was editing because they're so darn cute! For example, there's one shot I caught with my zoom lens of Shawn biting Kristina's cheek...I was so happy to document that moment for them because there are times when I feel like I love my husband so much I just have to bite him :D Now I know I'm not the only one!
Another of my absolute favorites is the picture of the newly married couple walking down the aisle on their way out of the church...they are glowing with pride and happiness. To see these pictures and a bunch more, click play on the slideshow below:

gorgeous grandchildren at the beach
When I first saw this extended family all together in the parking lot, I instantly loved the color combination of their outfits! They did such a great job coordinating with each other, and picked perfect colors for the beach. To see any of these images a little larger, click on the picture.
As we usually do, in between trying to get some posed family shots, we let the kids take breaks to play. That's when Alissa and I were able to catch the individual shots of these stunningly beautiful children.
